Sophie is getting her bottom two teeth! One of them has poked through already and the other one is really close. Babies usually get their first tooth around 7 months I hear, so she's early! And it was just our luck that she never really had a hard time with it. Yes, she did drool amazing amounts and chew on everything she could find, but she was never really fussy other than at her normal times (hungry or tired). Maybe all of our kids will be this chill. That would be great!
Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures....not that you could really see anything yet. They're just barely poking through the gums. She doesn't even let me look at them for more than a second, because if I stick my finger in her mouth, she immediately starts to lick it or chew it.......weird kid.
Other items of note: she really is sitting up for the most part, but her balance isn't very good, so she can't maintain it for very long. Also, she tries to lean forward to grab things and falls on her face, which doesn't help. When she's on her tummy, she pushes herself up on her arms and tries to move around, but ends up going backwards. She still hasn't quite gotten the hang of getting her knees up under her. Soon though. Also, she's tried bananas now and seems to love them. But I can't say that for sure, because she eats everything we give her. She makes faces, but she eats it. She is making more and more noises lately. Dave says she sounds like a baby velociraptor. It's pretty cute. And she is still sleeping through the night like a dream! (except for last night.....not sure why)
That's all for now.
Okay, I do have one fun picture for you. Enjoy!
(she is a duck.....that's supposed to be a bill on top of her head)
