Current Events

This week there have been a few things to note.  First, we attended the BYU/Creighton basketball game at the Qwest Center on Wednesday.  As a rule, I don't like basketball.  But it was BYU, which helped, I went with Dave (I wouldn't have gone for anyone else) and live basketball is so much better than televised.  So I enjoyed it.  And Dave really enjoyed it.  That being said, you're asking yourself, "did Sophie enjoy it?"  She did not.  She didn't go.  We actually got a babysitter for her for the very first time.  We were a little worried how she would react, since she doesn't like strangers very much.  But we got one of my piano students, who she sees every week, and it turned out just fine.  She didn't cry once, the little stinker.  (Couldn't she miss me just a little bit?)  But we enjoyed ourselves.......except for the near nosedive from the nosebleed section to the court.  I was a little off balance.
One other thing to note is that I made dinner for the first time in almost a week.  I've been sick since Monday and I'm finally feeling much better today.  Oh, and I went to my first Super Saturday today as well.  But I didn't make anything.  Not really on the ball, am I?
Dave did a 20 page paper all week and turned it in on Friday.  Woohoo!  We're both sick of Credit Rating Agencies now.  Only 4 finals to go.....
I put away my Thanksgiving decorations and we tried to put up our Christmas tree today, but didn't...........sad story.
Sophie got a flu booster shot on Friday.  She wasn't happy.
I cleaned my kitchen counters for the first time this week..........again, not on top of things much.
I finally feel well enough to enjoy our new fridge!  It came on Monday.  Glass shelves, a shelf in the freezer, more drawers and door space.......it's glorious.
Oh yeah, and I cut my hair just before Thanksgiving.  I now have bangs after 14 years of being bangless.
