Babies, Easter, and Firsts

This past weekend, we went to visit my sister who just had her baby.  I now have a new nephew!  This is Glenn.  Isn't he cute?  And ginormous.  He was 9 lb 15 oz (and I thought Sophie was big at 9 lb 5 oz!) and 24 inches long.

 Sophie with her new cousin.
 Yay for Easter!
Since she can't really have candy yet (and besides, it's bad for her), we put little goldfish crackers inside her eggs.  She loved it!
 Just being goofy outside.

My poor neglected plants.  This is just what has come back from last year.  I haven't planted anything outside yet.
I did move these plants around a bit a few weeks ago so they weren't crowding each other and they look much nicer now.  This is my herb garden.
 More pictures from this morning.

Okay, so Sophie really has been taking steps on her own recently, but it's really nothing significant.  She only ever takes one at a time and either goes to her knees or grabs something after that.  But it's coming.  I'm hoping she waits to really dive into walking (no pun intended) until we move and have carpet everywhere.  Much softer to fall on.  Another first.............I packed my first box a couple days ago.  :(  Actually, I packed 3, but who's counting?  It was sad and exciting at the same time.  I'll need to pack some more this week.  I'm trying to empty out our entertainment center so we can sell it at the big yard sale in Village Green this saturday.  Gee, maybe somebody will buy our unit too?  Anyway, that's it for today.  Hope everyone had a good easter.  It's raining buckets here and I get to watch all the robins splash around in the puddles.  :)

When Payton started walking, it was literally like he was taking one or two steps one day, and then the next day he was walking everywhere...so get ready!

And I think you need to get a countdown going for when you guys will be back here...

Hey Jordan, we've had a countdown on our sidebar the whole time we've lived here, and it's at the very top now, so it's easier to find. Can no one else see it or something?! If so, I'd like to know. It's a countdown to graduation, which is the day we're moving, so...same thing.
