A few days before Christmas, we went to my parents' house. We wanted to go early because we don't get to see all or most of my siblings together very often. And Shelbee was coming so we wanted to be there for as long as we could while she was there. We spent a couple fun days playing games and just hanging out before Christmas. Unfortunately, Christmas day wasn't the awesomest for me. I had a commitment up in Salt Lake that morning, so Tana and I spent most of the day driving there and then back. We did do stockings and Santa presents before we had to leave and then we did family presents after we got back. So it worked out, but still, not my ideal Christmas morning. It was really fun to see Sophie excited to open presents, and even more fun when she loved what she opened. I can't believe how smart she is. I was worried about some of the toys we got her, because they seemed like they would be too old for her, but she loves everything. We stayed for a couple days after Christmas and came back on Tuesday to have Christmas with Mark and Lisa. Unfortunately, Dave (and my mother) got sick on Christmas day, and it lasted for about a week, so he wasn't too happy. And then I got sick about a week later with the same thing. Not fun.
Anyway, on to the pictures. Sorry there's so many, but I won't write much for them. The first set is Christmas with my parents.
Cute baby Glenn, the youngest of the 4 grandchildren there.
Everyone except Ian and his family was present for this Christmas, and we actually got a photo of everybody!
This next set is from Christmas with Dave's parents. It also may be the last documented time we saw her tennis shoes. Maybe they got thrown away with the wrapping paper and boxes? Who knows.
Lisa did an awesome Mickey Mouse tree this year because, of course, Sophie would love it. And she did. She had to run into the living room every day and exclaim over the tree.
New Year's with the Czech's and Mark and Lisa.
This last one was at my parents' house. Shelbee sent it to me because it was so funny. All 4 grandchildren with grandma and grandpa. Of course, the only one screaming is ours. Haha.
Anyway, that about wraps it up. Christmas was great, we got to see lots of family and we had a lot of fun!
