I just wanted to record a few things we did in December.  First, we took Sophie to Temple Square to see the lights, which she loved, even though it was cold.

 We had to take her picture with the sheep, which of course, was her favorite part.

We went out to Ihop to eat afterwards and had a good time as well.  It was a nice family outing.

At the mall near where we live, in addition to having Santa, they also have a train that the little kids can ride around the mall.  We took Sophie to ride the train and skipped out on Santa this year.   She still doesn't do well with strangers, so what's the point?  She was unsure about the train until it started up and then she loved it.  Mark rode around the mall with her and Lisa and I  did some other shopping.  She was super excited when we waved as the train went by.  I know you can't tell she loved it by this first picture, but just believe me.

  After the ride ended, Mark walked around the mall with her forever.  She didn't want to leave.  She was fascinated by everything and had her little face pressed up against all the store windows.  Can you tell she doesn't get out much?

Anyway, I'll do the Christmas post a little later.  December was pretty fun for Sophie though.
