Not that anyone has really noticed, but I haven't been posting much since the semester started. I think my energy must still be on vacation because I haven't felt the desire to write anything lately. However I would like to change that so here I am.
First of all I would like to take a moment to recognize that Brooke’s birthday was on September 21st. I wanted to thank everyone who called/texted/emailed/telegrammed/etc their well wishes for Brooke. I know she was very happy about that. For all those who want to know how old she is you’ll have to contact her about that. For my purposes I’ll just say she’s 20ish.
The movie quiz is now on break. Did you guys enjoy yourself? Hopefully you found joy in trying to remember the name of the movie that is just on the tip of your tongue. We’ll see what the next incarnation of the movie quiz will bring later.
Have you guys been enjoying the posts that Brooke has been doing of Sophie? I find myself coming to the blog just to see pictures and video of Sophie to get me through the hard, depressing parts of the day.
For those interested, Brooke and I have started to do some causal exercising three times a week. Just a little bit of walking/jogging/running on the treadmill along with some sit-ups and pushups. I keep trying to tell myself it is for our health that we are doing this, but in reality it is just training for the day that we have to chase Sophie everywhere (which is coming faster than I would like it to come).
I would also like to do some “Post the Law” posts in the future. If anyone has any legal topics that they would like to know a little more about, let me know and I’ll try to do a little research on it for you. It helps my legal research skills and might help you or others learn something. Currently I am learning a lot from my current classes so if you have a particular question about those fields of law then I might really be able to answer your question. My current classes are: banking law, federal income taxation, mortgages, federal courts, and international law. Interesting to anyone? Anyway I was thinking about going over some parts of the Constitution to see how well we know the more important document in this country. For those who haven’t read it recently go look at it and see what you make of it.
I am finishing up some other posts here soon. I have a new Harry Potter problem I am going to talk about. I also never got to my college athletic conference realignment post before everything changed. Fortunately for me I didn’t get it done and posted this summer, because I would have looked stupid for some of my predictions. We’ll see if I ever get around to posting about the aftermath of conference realignment. I also have a “I just have to vent about this” post about what BYU did with its athletic program this summer. I am not quite done, I need another few upset moments to push me to vent again before it is done.
The weather has been getting colder here in Omaha recently. I can already see snow falling in our near (or hopefully far) future.
Nothing else has been going on. I guess this has been enough posting for today. Until next time.

Just so no one kicks themselves for not thinking of it when some other brilliant person did, I did not in fact receive a telegram. Although that would have been cool.
I don't know if this is really a law question, but I'd like to know how the Constitution defines freedom (and no I haven't read it lately).
