It's hard to believe that Sophie has been with us for (over) 8 months. It seems so close to a year old. It's incredible how different our lives are already. Here are some milestones and random things of interest:
- Sophie now has 4 teeth. 2 top, 2 bottom. (but you already knew that from the previous post) She loves to chew on things, so we have to be careful now that she can actually take a bite out of them.
- She is crawling pretty well now. How fast she goes depends on how interested she is in where she's trying to get.
- She's pulling herself up to stand on our legs and on the furniture.
- She hates being put down on the floor in a sitting position. She cries more times than not. Especially if we walk away. She'll only sit on the floor if we're sitting with her. I think it's because she can't get to a crawling position very well. She's kind of stuck when she's sitting.
- She has been spending a lot of time on her knees. She'll crawl, then stop and sit back on her knees and feet.
- She's been able to play a lot more on her own lately. You can put her with her toys and she may actually be happy by herself for awhile.
- She's eating real food! A lot of times, especially for dinner, we'll give her small pieces of whatever we're having. So far, she's pretty much loved anything we give her.....I think it's because she sees we're eating it and wants it regardless of how it tastes......although it's got to be better than her pureed tasteless baby food.
- She loves her sippy cup. We did have to get her a different one that has a straw because she just couldn't tip her head back that far to drink, but now she loves the straw sippy......and also loves to backwash. I don't think I'll be sharing my drink with her anytime soon.
- I'm sorry I don't have height and weight. I really don't ever do it on my own. I just let the doctor do it.

She is getting so big. I dont know if you know who I am...but whatever. I think one of you knows Aaron Reinert.
Anyway, trying opening the pictures in paint and saving them as JPGs. there should be a drop down menu to do that.
What file type are they? I might...maybe...be able to help you.
