That is, the ability to hold still just long enough to let me put in a ponytail. And it's so cute! I tried 2 this morning...........she didn't go for it. Sorry. And don't look too close at the picture. She's got a booger-crusted face that I can't do much about. (again with the no holding still so I can wipe her face) We've all been sick this week, so there's not much in the way of news, interesting or uninteresting, other than ponytails. I realize I missed her 10 month post, so the 11 month will just have to be doubly fun.
We did go to Utah for Spring Break all of last week, which was super fun. We went to my Grandmother's 80th birthday (surprise) party and I got to see my mom's side of the family, which only happens about every 10 years. And we saw all of my Utah siblings as well, which was fun. Unfortunately.......no pictures. I'm so bad. (To see a couple pictures of Sophie and Rion (her cousin that's 6 months older) at the event, I'll refer you to Lars and Alyssha's blog on the side bar) We also got to spend time at both of our parents' houses. At mine we did fun things like play games and help my mom plant seeds (yay for me! one of my favorite things to do!) and at Dave's we did things like play games and pick out carpet and tile for their basement-soon-to-be-our-new-place-of-dwelling (yay for me! one of my favorite things to do!........no really, I'm not just being silly!). And Dave really enjoyed......well, playing lots of games with both our parents and Dan and Jorden. We really are excited to go back. I'm working on a post (no, this is Brooke, not Dave, even though I'm pretty sure I've never said those words in my life before now) on the top 10 things I'll miss about Omaha, just to give it a send off of sorts. But I'm so excited to go back!
