1. There are no comfortable maternity pants. They either squeeze you too much or fall down. There's no happy medium. But what're you gonna do? Wear no pants? I don't think so. So we just deal with it for a few months.
2. Some things aren't as bad as they seem. We went to our first birth class today. I admit, I was a little nervous about it and so was Dave. Not nervous in the same way I get nervous to go to the doctor, but because I didn't know what to expect. But when we actually got there, the lady was really nice and there was actually a lot of really interesting and helpful things that she told us. Even the breathing practice stuff wasn't too bad. It was a little awkward because there were so many teenage and single parents there. But all in all, it was good. We even took a tour of labor and delivery. Unfortunately, there weren't any newborns in the nursery. That would have been fun. I thought the class was going to be torture, but it actually turned out to be good. I'm kind of looking forward to the next few weeks.
3. When you drop a bowl with warm cream cheese in it, don't expect it to stay in the bowl. Actually, it flies a lot further than you would think. Dave was impressed with its aviation skills.

It was interesting to enter the kitchen and see Brooke laughing about the cream cheese explosion.
I'm really excited for you! Sorry I missed you over Christmas. I was planning on attending your shower in slc, but the husband was leaving for Chile for 2 weeks the next day, so I wanted to spend some time with him.
Hahahahahaha!! I'm picturing cream cheese flying across the kitchen. That's pretty funny stuff!
I didn't just picture it....it happened. Everywhere. I don't know how, but it even got in the indentended space on the side of the fridge where the door swings, if that makes sense. All over me...all over the floor....all over the dishwasher and fridge. It was amazing.
