It’s Over, For Now…

The Super Bowl has ended and officially closed the door on football season. It is a sad day for those people (like me) who make football such a big part of their lives. However, it is nice to have a break from football to remember what life without football is like. Indeed, when mid August rolls and you are sick of baseball highlights, it is nice to know that football hits the field in September.

For now, I congratulate the New Orleans Saints on their Super Bowl victory over the Indianapolis Colts.

I should also mention the University of Alabama Crimson Tide for winning the BCS National Championship. Even though they didn’t win a championship on the field through a playoff system, they have a paper championship, which is the best we can do in college football right now.

In passing I would like to mention that this is our 100th post on this blog. We started the blog in November of 2008, a couple of months after we arrived in Omaha for law school. I would like to think that much has changed since those early rantings and ramblings of what law school was like and how we managed to survive the nursery at church. Law school is more than half over and soon the nursery experience will follow us full time. Hopefully this blog has provided you an opportunity to keep in touch with us and allowed you to experience those things that we think are important. Here is to the past 100 blogs, not to the entries themselves but what those posts symbolized in the passing of our daily lives. We look forward to the journey that the next 100 blog posts will bring. We hope you will experience them with us and share in the blessings that life gives to all of us.
