100 Days

We have now reached our last 100 days of being here in Omaha...and our final 100 days until graduation, since they are one and the same.  I filled out Dave's graduation application today.  Has it really been 3 years?  We're working on his bar application.  I'm holding myself back from packing, even though I REALLY want to. (Just ask Dave....I always try to pack 6 months in advance)  Things are definitely starting to wrap up.  And I'm finding myself ......a little sad surprisingly.  I still have things I want to do here.  Like paint the bathroom and the living room.  Visit the Joslyn Art Museum.  The Children's Museum.  The Durham Museum.  (lots of museums here)  Experiment with more plants in my garden....before I go back to the desert where half of them won't grow.  :)  We'll see what we can accomplish before we leave.

Wow, time is flying! You reminded me that it's not very long until I graduate - 78 days! I can't believe it's finally almost here.

I guess you know now what it's like for missionaries that have a hard time leaving home when they go out and a hard time leaving the place they've become used to.

Oh, it won't be hard to leave. Don't get the wrong idea. I just want to do a few more things before we do. You know, have the whole Omaha experience.

Can you come live with me for part of the 100 days so maybe we'll be sick of each other and I won't be sad that you're leaving? Maybe we can plan to go to The Children's Museum together sometime when we come visit. Hopefully our vehicle will be more reliable soon.

Well we sure are excited for you to come back! I think you should put a countdown on your tool bar so that we will always know how many days are left...

There's been a countdown since our first semester here I believe. It's at the very bottom on the right hand side. The one that says The End of Law School.
