9 Months!

Sophie had her 9 month check-up today.  Yay!  For the first time, she didn't have to get any shots.  (yay again!)  Her weight is 20 lb 8 oz (77%) and her height is 31 inches (99.93%).  The doctor was asking us some questions about what her diet is like......and said that whatever we're doing, it's working.  Haha.  Funny doctor.  Actually, she eats pretty much everything we do.  Including the meat, which is her favorite.  I think I've already mentioned most of her accomplishments like waving, clapping and giving high 5's.  For the last few days, she has surprisingly played on her own a lot.  She'll squirm on my lap, where she usually likes to stay almost all of the time.  I'll put her down, and she'll immediately go over to her toys and dump them all out on the floor.  And play with them for an hour or more.  It's great.  Although she still won't let me leave the room.  But still.  It's a step in the right direction.  Overall, she's healthy, happy and progressing every day.  I never knew how fun being a parent was going to be!
