Have you ever been on vacation and you wanted to stay there forever? Actually you must have had a bad vacation if you didn’t want to stay on vacation. That feeling of not wanting to return to reality is what has been happening to me these past few months. I see that I haven’t had a post on the blog since November 1st, 2010. That’s a long time considering it’s February. Fortunately Brooke has been keeping everyone up to date on us. I mean nothing really matters on this blog other than Sophie and the occasional post about Brooke’s flowers, so most of you might have forgotten I exist. Time for things to change!
As I sit here and look at Iowa (no really, I’m looking across the river at the state of Iowa) I realize that I am coming to the end of a very long segment of my life. Not just law school, but education in general. Granted, we learn every day regardless of whether we are at school or not, but the specific, dedicated time to learning at institutions dedicated to that purpose is what I am almost done with. I don’t foresee ever returning to a university to gain a new degree. Brooke and I have often discussed continuing education courses offered by a local university and the possibility of signing up for them. But those classes are to learn about painting, gardening, photography, etc. Basically classes that are for pure enjoyment, rather than those that might help you get a job. Anyway, this whole paragraph was to say that I seem to be missing school before I am out of school. Odd really. Usually you start missing school after you have become bored with summer and are ready to see your friends again. I guess I'd better try and enjoy this last semester then, right?!!!
I am still writing some posts about various topics. Nothing too interesting, but keep on the lookout for those.
Also if anyone has any questions about legal topics I might be able to give you an overview on the subject. Yes, I still haven’t gotten to some other questions already asked by Terry, but I’m still working on those.

Nobody forgot you exist...just so you know! I hope you do have fun at school even though I don't really understand why you'd miss it. Especially before it's even over. Crazy guy!
I'm feeling a little like you are Dave - excited to be done with school, but missing it too. I can hardly remember what it was like before I had classes it was so long ago. I'm sure I'll adjust, but it will be weird at first.
