We took Sophie in to the doctor today because she woke up with twice as many red spots as yesterday and the ones from yesterday were bigger and angrier. We were worried it was something like chicken pox (even though she's already had the shots for that). But when we got there they told us it's most likely hand, foot and mouth. Yay. So, to say the least, she's miserable. She doesn't feel well and it's going to take a week or more for it to start clearing up. In the meantime, she's covered in these angry red blistery spots. I hope they start feeling better once they break and scab over (sorry.....too much information?). Does anyone else have experience with this? Any suggestions on how to make her more comfortable?

I wish I had some helpful advice for you but I'm not familiar with it. Poor Sophie! I'll let you know if I hear anything about it from anyone.
grrr! Hand foot and mouth is no fun. Hiett got it during the weekend of Caleb's blessing. See if you can get miracle mouthwash from you dentist or maybe your Dr. would be able to prescribe it. It really helps when its time to eat.
Poor Sophie! I hope she's feeling better.
