I am now seeing the midwives weekly until I deliver. Normally, weekly doctors visits would be bad, but it's not like they do much at these. Basically, I go in, they make me pee in a cup, take my weight, measure my belly, and listen to the baby's heartbeat. If there aren't any delays, it takes about 15 minutes. But the nice thing is, it's a weekly chance to ask any questions we might have. For instance, I kept forgetting to ask what my blood type is. So I finally asked today. I am an O positive, which I looked up and found out more than a third of the population has. But it was still exciting to find out! Another good thing that came from today is that I found out that if all goes well, I never have to get stuck with a needle again during this pregnancy! If that's not something to celebrate, I don't know what is! So we got ice cream on the way home. That's all. I just wanted to share my excitement.

no more needles is good! but are you planning to go all natural or get an epidural??? that is one needle that is SOOOOOOO worth being stuck with!!
No more needles......period. Again, along with my other things about pregnancy, that is one thing that I'm convinced is exaggerated. And that's after talking to both people who had epidurals and ones who didn't, including my sister, who I trust. Anyway, no epidural if I can help it.
Yay........I bet that's the best news you've had in a long time!
O positive is a good kind of blood type to have. That's what I have.
What kind of ice cream did you get?
McDonald's Oreo McFlurry
