Where the Bad Things Are

So.....we just watched Where the Wild Things Are for the first time.  We had heard that it got really good reviews, and we both enjoyed the book as children, so we actually paid for it (from Redbox, but still, a dollar is a dollar) and watched it for our date tonight.  It wasn't 15 minutes into the movie before we both felt like it was a waste of our time.......only we paid for it (c'mon....wasting a dollar is still wasting a dollar!) so we kept watching, hoping it would get better.

It didn't.

It was like watching the Muppets on crack.  One of the worst movies we've seen.  Ever.

It was bad movie. About half way through the movie I thought, "Maybe I should go downstairs and do some homework." Later, after the movie was done, I thought, "I could have enjoyed myself more if I had done homework."

In conclusion I give the movie a one out of ten (and that is being generous). I would say it would be a tough decision if I had to choose to watch Where the Wild Things Are or Battlefield Earth. Yes, it was that bad.

I could have told you before you got it- we saw it in the theater and it was awful. They tried to put such a psychological twist on it and we didn't approve. :)

Hey there! so, I am a HUGE slacker. I will be emailing you soon- but suffice to say sorry :) We also redboxed Where the Wild Things Are. Agree- total waste of time. We actually fast-forwarded at least 40 min of the movie, quite certain we didn't miss a thing.

We felt the same way! We too finished it just because... but felt stupider after watching it!
